Treatment Fees:

In-network insurance:

At this time Empire State Forensics is not In-Network with any insurance companies and does not accept insurance coverage.

Out of Network Insurance:

Empire State Forensics clinicians are able to provide documentation/ superbills for Out of Network Insurance reimbursement following receipt of payment. Please note insurance may not reimburse the total amount of treatment costs and may result in out of pocket expenses for clients.

If you plan to use Out of Network reimbursement coverage, we recommend the following prior to starting treatment:

  1. Contact your insurance company to verify you have Out of Network Mental Health/ Behavioral Health Coverage. Your insurance company should be able to tell you what services will be covered, and the amount they will reimburse for these services.
  2. Inquire if there are session quantity or duration limits that will impact your ability to be reimbursed.
  3. Out of Network clients must alert their clinician to their need for superbills following payment. Superbills are available in the client portal but will not be sent by therapists automatically.

Self-pay/uninsured:

For those who are uninsured or do not wish to use insurance to pay for treatment costs, you have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of your anticipated treatment costs upon request. For information on treatment pricing, please reach out to us via phone.
