Ms. Casey Olejar joined Empire State Forensics in September 2023 and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Forensic Mental Health Counseling at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Alongside this degree, she will receive Advanced Certificates in Victimology and Criminal Investigation upon graduating in May 2024. Prior, Ms. Olejar obtained a B.F.A. from The University of the Arts and attended Villanova University’s College of Professional Studies to deepen her knowledge of forensic psychology and counseling. At John Jay, she studied under Dr. Louis Schlesinger and Dr. Kostas Katsavdakis, who influenced her pursuit of criminal psychological assessments, sex-related crimes, violent crime investigation, and criminal profiling. At present, Ms. Olejar is trained to administer the AASI-3 and MMPI-3. She will be completing 600 clinical hours with Empire State Forensics from September 2023 until May 2024.
