Cassidy Narvaez holds a Masters degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling along with a
Dual Bachelors/Masters degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal
Justice. Her therapeutic approach consists of empathy, compassion, and evidence-based
practices. She believes in the importance of creating a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic
environment where clients feel empowered to make positive change in their lives. Ms. Narvaez is
committed to assisting individuals with their mental health needs and achieving their goals.
She has experience working with both voluntary clients and mandated clients who were recently
released from incarceration. Ms. Narvaez has conducted individual sessions and has co-
facilitated numerous group sessions focused on topics regarding substance use and recovery
skills. She is passionate about the benefits of group therapy as it encourages validation and
support amongst members.
Ms. Narvaez looks forward to continuing her professional growth and expanding her clinical
